Thirty years of photography has given me the chance to see things differently, from the perspective of a lense or how something will fit in a picture frame. The takeaway is that there is much to see in this world.
Born and raised in Hawaii is a treat, Hawaii is a melting pot of people, customs, food and ideas. Great hiking and sights to enjoy across many islands, but as far from anyplace on earth as you can. Each island has its own flavor, having been to pretty much every one from Hawaii to Kure Atoll, Kahoolawe and Midway Island. Each place brings a different flavor, lifestyle or feeling to the visitor. Special places like Kalaupapa, Na Pali coast line, or even Molokini or the twin islands, aka the "Mokes" off Lanikai.
I feel lucky enough to have grown up, when you could camp around the island, visit these islands, or sail between them and anchor off Lanai as a kid.
