The New RV Project - Ka'a Nui (da big van project)

We found a 2021 Dodge 3500 Promaster 136wb van. With the great help of Tim and Howard, we drove to Kona, gave up the cash (cashiers check) and picked up the van. This took place February 28th, 2024. Our plan is to refit it over the next few years before we both retire. I need things to do, and this looked like fun project. Be sure to ask me again in a couple years if it was a fun project. I suspect it will be much more comfortable than the Motorcycle tours and sleeping on the ground, although that was a lot of fun.

Pics of the start of it all <Link>

As your can see the van is completly empty, except for six panels with 700 watts of panels, a toilet (12v?) and 32 quart fridge

Much to work out on paper, before purchasing needed items and moving things around. Most of it needs to come together, plumbing, location of sink, electrical PV system and house battery, etc on paper first..

I've started a couple blogs on this build activity, always looking for ideas
